Security

Backup

Hostway's backup software saves data on a seven-day cycle. A full backup is performed on the first day, and daily incremental backups of each shared hosting account happens on the following six days. A backup is taken of each file not locked or in use by another process at the time of backup. Versions of the file are stored, as long as the file is present on the server, for a minimum period of seven days after it is removed.
